Summer Days & Style

Just in time for the 4th of July!!! Summer is my favorite season, not to mention my birthday is in the summer. JULY 10th :) big 21st this year. But any who I'm cooking up some new fashion brew for all my followers! I love you so much and don't be afraid to spread the word about my blog, help me help you people lol. I will be out of town in a couple of days ssssoooo that means new new when I get back, PEACE!

Sexy Mama!!! I really got into this outfit...I'm not sure why! But I felt sexy in a very classy demure way. The cardi, (Rachel Zoe lingo) is from my grandmother VINTAGE. It has blue and red stars ALL over it, beautiful. The red dress underneath is from UO. And shoes are some random nude peep-toes I had in my hall closet lol. Great outfit for July 4th, picnics and fireworks. And my logo is apart of this post, I'm in love with it and more to come. My friend from Clark Atlanta did it for me, shout out homie! I hope you enjoyed :)

A cool, laid-back look for summer. This was one of my favorite outfits to shoot and to wear. Tribal print tank was purchased from forever 21. The Levi black denim shorts were pants that I bought out thrifting. I did minor altering and made the pants into shorts. Earrings are vintage, made out of all natural materials, I believe there is snake skin on them too! Hat and black ankle boots are from UO, Urban Outfitters :) and sunglasses are forever 21, the ring is from Burlington's. They have the cutest jewelry usually all under $7. And the vintage bag is my cousin Brittney's :( I want it soooo bad!

A little bit of sunshine :)

The accessories in this post get me all excited lol! I was so happy when I found the green briefcase in a local thrift store in Nashville. It is in great condition and I paid less than $5! The hat that Brittney is wearing is a new piece I bought; I love the peacock feather on side which didn't show up in the pictures. Blouse and animal print shorts were thrift finds. Belt and shoes is new, belt forever 21 and shoes are Gianni Bini from Dillard's. Super comfortable may I add :) I think that Brittney's curly locks also brought a playful vibe to the concept of the shoot. I love natural hair; I favor it more in the summer when it is harder to keep the hair straight in the heat and humidity.

AND we cont... lol

COUNTRY!!!! Nashville at it's best! I heart white, silk, big hats, and floral...the combination of all of these is this outfit. White hat, I wore for a Queen's tea I had a year ago. Pleated front blouse, white Levi's and pale belt are vintage. The bow necklace in actuality is a belt from anthropology, cream peep-toe's are from TJ Maxx. I have a thing for peep-toes hahaha.

More southern swag lol. I' am wearing a second-hand Pangea dress (purchased at clothing x-change) on top a denim long sleeve Ralph Lauren button down also thrifted. The denim top was extremely soft, the softest denim I've had on my body! Gold buckle belt, from the goodwill, finishes off this southern look!

To cont...

Love this!!!! Vintage see through blouse, BEAUTIFUL :) Bra made inside as well. Bestey Johnson studded belt, with short tiered skirt and I layered a pencil skirt underneath (forever 21) because 1 it's super cute and 2 ummm the tiered skirt is toooo short, no booty showing ya'll!!! Great trick ladies for skirts you do not want to part with just yet. Shoes are Dillard's, my mother's...leave feedback if you like/luv ;)

My beautiful cousin, Brittney modeling an UO blazer, UO second-hand tropical floral shorts(Clothing X-change), second-hand Pangea heavy-metal belt , also from the same place. Thrifted leather top, sunglasses from forever 21 and Vince camuto cut-out shoes.

Florida, I shall see you on July 11th :)

Out vintage shopping and ran across this hunter green body-forming dress, with Florida embroidered on the front! It was perfect for me and not only because I'm excited about Miami in July lol. I paired it with the tailored band jacket and cream peep-toe pump. Jacket, Macy's and shoes from Tj Maxx.

Another Photo Shoot, CLICK CLICK!!!

I'm at the shoot and I look down and see these Louis V kicks! Hottness :) Straight from Paris!
I need a wayyyyy better camera ASAP! lol

Another photo shoot that I helped to wardrobe style. The theme was a day at school, Hume Fogg was the location. Everyone was really nice and had some great advice! All the clothing styles were pretty simple nothing to flashy more urban-school than anything. Peep the school jocks, know as the radicalz.
